Registered Nurse (Evenings) - Peterborough Area
|
Maternity Leave Contract: Minimum 15hrs/week, 1500 to 2300 (guideline
only, depends on type/length of visits)
POSITION SUMMARY
ProHome Health Services is currently seeking a RN for the visiting
nurse program – EVENINGS ONLY – weekends off. This position will service
all areas in and around Peterborough.

- Credit given for previous nursing experience up to 3 years
- Self-scheduling within a small nursing team

- Paid travel time
- Self-scheduling within a small nursing team
- Management and care coordination of own caseload

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse – Member in good
standing with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Minimum of two years recent hospital experience in an acute
setting and/or specific skill requirements identified by the Company
as a priority hire i.e. Psychiatry
- Previous community nursing an asset
- Good assessment and communication skills
- Possession of a valid driver's permit and vehicle
- Working knowledge of computers an asset

Extended Hours/Relief Client Services Coordinator - Mississauga

An opportunity exists for an Extended Hours and Relief Client
Services Coordinator in the Mississauga area. Primarly responsible for
the coordination of client service plans through effective, accountable
and responsive scheduling of non-registered staff. The coordinator
ensures the quality of care and client satisfaction through responsible,
supportive and cooperative management of staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous coordination, scheduling experience in a health care
environment.
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, problem-solving and
therapeutic communications skills.
- Must be computer literate with a demonstrated ability to learn
new computer applications.
- Understanding of customer service practices
- Second language an asset
